Well known for its benchmark app, AnTuTu has published a new benchmark based on their last test Antutu V6.0. Results are clearly in favour of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. For the Overall Performance, the Top 10 is dominated by Qualcomm 820, Apple A9 and Samsung Exynos 8890.

You can also notice that the Huawei homemade chip, the Kirin 950, performs very well at the fourth position. You could enjoy the power of the Qualcomm 820 very soon in the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge and also in LG G5 for example.

Next benchmark made by AnTuTu is the GPU Performance ranking. Again, Qualcomm 820 (Adreno 530) is at top with a larger advantage above the Apple A9 GPU Chip (PowerVR GT7600). Samsung Exynos 8890 (Mali-T880 MP12) is still at the third position. You can notice that the Kirin950 is only at the eighth position in that ranking.

Future will tell us if these benchmarks confirm the announced domination of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 on the smartphones’ performance battle.
